Healing

I recently had some dental surgery and when I visited my dentist again this week, he told me, "I don't know what you are doing, but keep on doing it".

I can't say for sure it was because I was taking ReLiv, but I wasn't the last time I'd gone for major dental work and I was this time. I think it is.

So, if you think you are heading for some healing need, a surgery or an emotional trauma of some kind, a change of any kind, just remember, the body will heal best when it has the right nutritients.

ReLiv provides those nutrients. Try it for yourself.

Contact me and we can talk about it too.

Why Doesn't Everyone Take Reliv??

I've asked myself that question over and over again. What am I doing wrong? Why can't everyone I tell about Reliv just do it? There is something in my heart that saddens when I see someone who could be helped by this product still sufferring from pain, discomfort and disease.
I know there are many ways to approach introducing people to ReLiv, but I've decided my best way it to hold them in my heart and pray, yes pray, that the ones who will come to me to buy Reliv will come and the ones who don't will find some other means for themselves. Then I let go of the worry.

So, if you are that person who wants to have better health, better nutrition and a better life, contact me. I'll be happy to get you in touch with so many others who have found ReLiv to enhance theirs. Email, phone or leave a comment here. I'll answer any and all requests. sandyrelivnow@gmail.com, 520 548 1870, click comment below! Come and Get It!!!

Travel and Reliv

I just returned from a trip to Illinois. It is a good time to get away from Tucson as we are in our hot, muggy, rainy season. It was fortunately a good time to be in Illinois even though it was sometimes hot, muggy and rainy. The weather there was beautiful nonetheless with welcome cool evenings and green, green, green grass, trees, flowers, everywhere. I dipped my feet in Good Old Lake Michigan, and refreshed myself by eating just picked corn on the cob. Great trip!

Traveling with Reliv has posed problems for me in the past. Note my post about Consistency, Consistency, Consistency. So I've been practicing how to bring Reliv along on my housesitting assignments and it's worked pretty well.
This trip was going to be 10 days and 2,000 miles away. I packed up my zip locks of product (enough for two/three shakes a day for ten days) and placed them all in my carry-on. Success! They fit! I could reach them easily and I brought along a little mason jar to use for the shakes.
My first challenge came after a long sleepy 3 a.m. drive to Phoenix via shuttle. I was tired, stressed and had to catch a flight that may or may not have a seat for me as I always fly stand-by.
Out came the jar, over to a water fountain, nice cold water, and a seat in the gate area. I discreetly opened my carry on, added the product and my first shake was ready! It worked. No one looked at me strangely, I didn't spill or make a mess and best of all I felt so much better with the Reliv in me.
My entire trip was a success. I made my shakes on time, stored my product easily at airports, in the car or at my hosts' homes and didn't miss a beat!!! Thank you Reliv for being such a versatile product. And thank you for getting me through those airports, the waits and the stress of not knowing if I'd make it on a flight. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Reliv is as good a traveler as I am!!!!

Stories, Stories, Stories

The crux of this business is getting stories in front of people. Each time I hear a story, I am inspired, heartened, strengthened in my own resolve to give myself the best of nutrition possible.

If you are reading this blog, you may be interested in some of these stories. I recommend you go to the Reliv.com website and click on testimonials. There are many health stories as well as business stories there.

I recommend you contact me for more entrees into stories that fit your own situation. Believe me when I say, these products work in people's lifes. There is NO reason they will NOT work in yours. Let me know what you need. ReLiv can help.

Many blessings to you as you seek your own health and healing.

My Story - Redeux

I've been frustrated with this blog format in that it gives last post first. I think I'd rather start from the beginning and read as I wrote them, following the evolution of thought.

But, I have not found a way to do that. I ask new readers each month to go to the April 5, 2008 and read "My Story" and the April posts first when you visit this blog. You can, of course, do it however you want, but I think it's worth reading the beginning before reading the present. Still ------ Being in The Now isn't so bad either.

Blessings friends.

Soy What?

Personally, I've always been a fan of soy. It made sense to me that there would be an alternative protein source that was not animal protein. But Inever really knew what or how much soy was good for me. I just used it from time to time or once a week instead of meat.

Then there was some kind of study about soy and cancer. Great! Now what, I used to think.

Well, currently as happens with many of these medical studies, the connection between soy and cancer is so not what it appeared to be and more and more articles are being written to prove that. I have excerpted one such article from the September 2007 issue of Oprah's, O Magazine, written by David L. Katz, MD.

The evidence linking soy intake with breast cancer risk is mixed.

When researchers compare the Japenese, who eat a lot of soy, to Americans, who eat very little, they find lower rates of breast cand other cancers in the soy eaters. However, they've found that in a test tube, soy's plant estrogens can speed cancer cell growth. Why the discrepancy? It may be that soy behaves differently in the body than it does in test tubes. Or soy may have both positive and negative influences on breast cancer. . .. . . Replacing steak with soy could be protective. ... A recent National Cancer Institute workshop on soy and breast cancer risk concluded that we still don't know enough to recommend soy for cancer prevention. and a solid answer, based on research, is still years away.

So, in other words, the jury is still out. And my first thought is: "Who lives in a test tube anyway?"

I like soy. Reliv Classic and some other products are soy-based. I found an interesting thing happened when I started taking Reliv. Not only did my pain go away (see My Story in the archives), and I stopped craving sugar, caffiene and fast foods, but I noticed I didn't eat as much chicken either!! In fact, I was still eating fish, but even more frequently and didn't have chicken for almost a whole month before I noticed it. (I'd stopped eating beef and pork some years ago, and only occassionally included them in my diet).

So, I'd rather see myself in my life, than in a test tube and I know the results Reliv has produced. After all, isn't that the most important thing???

Questions, comments always welcome. Are you ready to Re-Live??
